The 7th Annual Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) Conference is set to bring together leaders, practitioners, policymakers and experts to advance the conversation on information security, governance and national resilience.
Under the theme:
>“From Compliance to National Resilience: Advancing ISMS for Governance, Critical Infrastructure Security and Sustainable Development”
the 2027 conference will examine how organisations can move beyond viewing information security primarily as a compliance obligation and instead embed it as a core capability for institutional resilience, secure digital transformation, effective governance and the protection of critical infrastructure.
As governments, businesses and essential-service providers become increasingly dependent on interconnected digital systems, the consequences of cyber incidents extend beyond individual organisations. Disruptions can affect public services, economic activity, national security and public confidence. This makes robust information security management an increasingly important component of organisational and national resilience.
The conference will provide a platform for discussions on strengthening ISMS implementation, governance and executive accountability, cyber risk management, protection of critical information infrastructure, regulatory compliance, business continuity, supply-chain security, emerging technologies and the evolving cybersecurity threat environment.
Particular attention will be given to the relationship between information security, organisational resilience and sustainable development, highlighting the need for security measures that support innovation while ensuring that digital services remain secure, reliable and trusted.
The conference is expected to bring together Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), national security experts, Heads of Departments, management representatives, directors, academia, industry leaders and information-security practitioners.
