CMCA Regulations Taskforce

The Principal Secretary (PS) of the State Department for Internal Security and National Administration, also chairing the National Computer and Cybercrime Coordination Committee (NC4), urged the technical team responsible for crafting cybercrime and technology misuse regulations in Kenya to incorporate public input. The objective is to create a secure and user-friendly online environment that fosters innovation and creativity among Kenyan citizens. The PS led a meeting with the taskforce to review the advancement of these regulations, crucial for implementing the 2018 Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act (CMCA). With Kenya’s digital advancement, the Ministry of Interior is dedicated to safeguarding cyberspace and preventing unlawful activities in the digital domain.
