NC4 at the Smart Government Summit 2026

Cybersecurity is no longer just about technology. It is about governance, trust, and coordinated national decision-making.

The National Computer and Cybercrimes Coordination Committee (NC4) is proud to participate in the Smart Government Summit 2026 , contributing to the conversation on building secure, trusted, and resilient digital government.

As Kenya accelerates digital transformation, cybersecurity must evolve beyond technology to governance, accountability, and coordinated national action.

This is not principally an AI arms race. It is a national decision contest.

NC4's role is to connect institutional, sectoral, and national evidence into actionable intelligence, enabling Government to make informed decisions before isolated cyber incidents escalate into cascading national crises.

As Artificial Intelligence becomes increasingly embedded in Critical Information Infrastructure, its deployment must be accompanied by appropriate governance, risk assessment, human oversight, and regulatory compliance. Kenya's legal framework already provides the foundation for ensuring that significant changes to designated Critical Information Infrastructure are implemented responsibly and with due oversight.

We look forward to engaging with government, industry, academia, and development partners to strengthen cyber resilience through a whole-of-society approach and advance secure digital governance for Kenya and the continent.
