Implementing New Cybercrime Regulations

Recently, PS Internal Security and National Administration, and Chair NC4 Secretariat, Dr. Raymond Omollo, led a workshop with the NC4 Secretariat to develop a comprehensive implementation plan for the recently published Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Regulations, 2024.

Effective implementation of the Regulations will require close partnership and collaboration with stakeholders from both the public and private sector, as cybersecurity is a cross-cutting issue across many fields.

Similarly, implementation of these Regulations will ensure that Kenya’s digitization and digitalization efforts are adequately secured amidst the ever-increasing cyber threats and attacks.
