Kenya Publishes CMCA Regulations, 2024

On 9th February 2024, Kenya marked another great milestone in the cybersecurity ecosystem through the publication of the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes (Critical Information Infrastructure and Cybercrime Management) Regulations, 2024.

The Regulations seek to operationalize the provisions of the Computer Misuse & Cybercrimes Act of 2018 & strengthen the role of the National Computer and Cybercrimes Coordination Committee (NC4), as the leading entity in coordinating cybersecurity matters in Kenya.
