Submission of Draft CMCA 2018 Regulations

In a bid to promote National Security and protect Critical information Infrastructure, PS Internal Security, Dr. Raymond Omollo, and other NC4 members on Tuesday, November 28th 2023, officially received the just concluded Critical Information Infrastructure and Cybercrime Management Regulations, 2023 that underwent public participation in September and are now ready for publication

The Regulations seek to strengthen the institutional and regulatory frameworks that address cyberspace challenges and mitigate the effects of cyberattacks and incidents in the country

During the same meeting, NC4 Members approved the co-option of Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) as a fully-fledged member of the National Computer and Cybercrimes Coordination Committee.
